We love this series of books! It is one in a series of three "alphabet books."  The colorful book does a fine job of covering the history of the rodeo with through words, pictures and vocabulary.  While the books are intended for ages 6 and up, they are a great medium for adults or intergenerational activities.

Be sure to look for our set of three books, or large kit with accompanying Busy Bottles.

From the Publisher:

Our unique, award-winning bilingual alphabet book series take the reader beyond learning their letters and take them on a cultural journey. They provide appropriate background and solicit the reader for further discussion and extension of learning. They are excellent sources for special teaching units on Hispanic culture as well as for holidays like National Hispanic Heritage Month, Día de los Niños, and Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

Third in the series of popular bilingual alphabet books, this picturesque children’s book highlights the life and the history of the vaquero (cowboy). It includes many concepts like 'rodeo' and 'lasso' that emerged with the arrival of the Spaniards in the New World. Consequently, the cattle industry began and thus, the vaquero terminology was adopted and adapted by the English language. Exposing children to the origin and use of the vaquero vocabulary is the main objective of the book. Great addition to a bilingual home library! It is also intended as a resource for the bilingual / dual-language classroom.
