We made the trek from Minnesota to Massachusetts and what a time we had. Not only did we have a great conference, and met so many wonderful people, but also had a chance to take in the city. I hadn't realized that Springfield also had the Dr. Seuss Museum which not only housed the novelty of his characters, but also an intimate look at his family life and personal writing. We made two stops to the local German restaurant and found out that Dr. Seuss had a booth he like to sit in and enjoyed conversation with the former owner. They liked to tell war stories as Dr. Seuss served in WWI and the owner had served in WWII.
